Residents of several communities in Afikpo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State have thrown their weight behind the governorship ambition of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, , ahead of the February 6, 2027 governorship election.
The endorsement was made during a gathering tagged “Street Endorsement for Odii” held in Afikpo, where party leaders and supporters expressed confidence in his ability to lead the state.
Speaking at the event, the Ebonyi State PDP Women Leader, , described Odii as a capable and visionary leader with the experience, integrity and connections needed to drive development and improve the welfare of Ebonyi people.
Also speaking, PDP senatorial candidate for Ebonyi South Zone, , urged residents to support Odii and ensure they obtain and safeguard their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the elections. She expressed confidence that his administration would bring transformational leadership to the state.
Other PDP candidates, including and , described the endorsement as a strong signal of grassroots support and called on residents to remain committed to the party’s vision.
The event attracted supporters from across Afikpo communities, marking an early boost for Odii’s campaign as political activities ahead of the 2027 governorship election continue to gather momentum in Ebonyi State.
