The Anambra State Hospital Management Board has reaffirmed its commitment to quality healthcare delivery following a surprise inspection of General Hospital, Enugwu-Ukwu by Hospital Administrator, Frank Ifeanaeme.

During the visit, Dr. Ifeanaeme praised staff members for their dedication and punctuality, noting that those on duty were at their duty posts and providing quality healthcare services. He also confirmed the successful implementation of the state government’s free delivery programme after nursing mothers at the maternity unit said they received maternal care at no cost.

The hospital administrator, however, stressed the need for proper record-keeping across all departments, describing accurate documentation as essential for accountability and efficient service delivery.

He also directed that staff who fail to wear official name tags while on duty should be sanctioned, insisting that proper identification is vital to professionalism and public trust.

Dr. Ifeanaeme assured the hospital management that identified operational challenges would be addressed to further improve healthcare services in the facility.
