The Ebonyi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed confidence that it will record a sweeping victory in the 2027 general elections, declaring that opposition parties stand no chance of winning elective positions in the state.
The State Chairman of the party, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, made the declaration while receiving APC support groups at the party secretariat in Abakaliki.
Emegha said the level of support enjoyed by the party across Ebonyi State was a clear indication that Governor Francis Nwifuru and other APC candidates were on course for victory in the 2027 polls.
He dismissed opposition parties as incapable of matching the APC’s popularity in the state, insisting that they would suffer a decisive defeat at the polls.
The APC chairman, however, urged members of the party’s support groups to intensify grassroots mobilisation by encouraging eligible residents to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
He stressed that increased voter registration would further strengthen the party’s electoral prospects ahead of the general elections.
Emegha also assured the support groups of the State Working Committee’s continued collaboration and support throughout the electioneering process and beyond, expressing confidence that the APC would consolidate its hold on political offices across Ebonyi State in 2027.
