The Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Dame Ezinne Mary Oduah Amaechi, mother of former Rivers State Governor and former Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.
In a statement, Senator Kalu described the late Dame Amaechi as a devoted mother, woman of faith and respected matriarch whose life was marked by humility, compassion and selfless service to her family and community.
The former Abia State Governor said her passing is a great loss to the Amaechi family and all who knew her, noting that she lived a life worthy of emulation.
Kalu extended his heartfelt condolences to Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, the entire Amaechi family, friends and associates, praying that God grants them the strength to bear the loss and gives the deceased eternal rest.
He also urged the bereaved family to find comfort in the enduring legacy of love, faith, discipline and service left behind by the late Dame Ezinne Mary Oduah Amaechi.
