The Ebonyi State Examination Development Centre says it has fully digitalised its operations, enabling the release of examination results and certificates within 30 days after examinations.
The Registrar of the Centre, Mr. Lawrence Otusinkama, disclosed this while receiving members of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly Committee on Education during an oversight visit to the centre.
Otusinkama also revealed that the Centre has cleared the backlog of First School Leaving Certificates, describing the achievement as part of the reforms recorded under the administration of Governor Francis Nwifuru.
According to him, the reforms have eliminated unnecessary delays, allowing pupils to progress to the next stage of their education without difficulty.
He noted that the examination body has regained public confidence through improved transparency, standardisation and credibility, making state-conducted examinations more reliable and widely accepted.
The registrar further stated that the Centre has maintained affordable examination fees while adhering strictly to its approved examination calendar.
He also appreciated the Ebonyi State Government for its continued support, including the provision of an operational vehicle to enhance the Centre’s efficiency.
Otusinkama reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to sustaining high standards and delivering efficient examination services across Ebonyi State.
