Troops of Sector 2 Operation HADIN KAI, working alongside the Yobe State Hunters Group, have arrested five suspected kidnappers during an intelligence-led operation in Fune Local Government Area of Yobe State.
The operation was carried out on July 23, 2026, at Jegalari Village following credible intelligence on the activities of the suspects. The joint security team successfully apprehended the five suspects without incident.
The military said the operation forms part of ongoing efforts to rid the North East of criminal elements and enhance security across the region. Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to sustaining intelligence-driven operations to protect lives and property.
