The Nkwelle-Awkuzu Vigilante Group in Anambra State has apprehended a 25-year-old man, identified as Ifeanyichukwu Sunday Olisa Egbo Ugonabo, over allegations of sexually abusing two underage sisters aged 15 and 12.
According to the vigilante group, the suspect was arrested following reports of the alleged abuse. During an interrogation captured in a video circulating on social media, the suspect reportedly admitted to having sexual relations with the two minors.
One of the victims also alleged that the suspect repeatedly subjected both her and her younger sister to sexual abuse.
The suspect has since been handed over to security operatives for further investigation and possible prosecution.
Authorities are expected to carry out a thorough investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the allegations and ensure that justice is served in accordance with the law.
