Months after welcoming triplet sons with his actress wife, Mo Bimpe, popular Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has opened up about the emotional toll, public scrutiny, and stigma the couple endured before the birth of their children.

In a reflective post shared on his official Instagram page on Tuesday, the movie star recounted how public whispers, lies, and mockery tested their resolve during their waiting period.

Explaining why they chose not to address rumours or defend themselves publicly at the time, Adedimeji noted that silence and faith were their ultimate shield.

“They spoke, Allah answered,” he wrote. “The mockery. The lies. The stigma. The assumptions. The things said behind our backs and sometimes, right to our faces. There was a time when the whispers were louder than our prayers.”

He continued, “There were moments we could have fought back. Moments we could have explained ourselves. Moments we could have tried to prove people wrong. But we chose silence. Because we knew something they didn’t… Allah was writing our story.”

Reflecting on their current reality as parents to three boys, the actor described their sons as living proof of divine timing and answered prayers.

Adedimeji wrote, “When Allah writes your story, you don’t need to fight every lie. You don’t need to answer every accusation. You don’t need to convince everyone. Just wait for His timing.
