The Enugu State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Ben Osy Okoh, has led members of Hilltop Club 72, Lagos, on an inspection tour of some ongoing infrastructure projects across the state.
The tour offered members of the club an opportunity to assess firsthand the scope and progress of major projects being executed by the administration of Governor Peter Mbah.
Speaking during the exercise, Commissioner Okoh said the ongoing infrastructure projects were part of the state government’s deliberate efforts to modernise Enugu, improve connectivity and create an enabling environment for economic growth.
He said the administration’s infrastructure development programme was focused on opening up communities, improving transportation networks, stimulating economic activities and enhancing the quality of life of residents.
Okoh expressed satisfaction with the progress of the projects and appreciated the Hilltop Club 72 delegation for taking interest in the state’s development initiatives.
The visitors toured selected project sites, where they received briefings on the scope, level of completion and expected socio-economic impact of the various projects.
The Commissioner further reaffirmed the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure’s commitment to delivering durable and quality projects within specified timelines, in line with Governor Mbah’s development agenda.
