The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have agreed a new $8.5 million-a-year partnership with Adidas, ushering in a new era for Nigeria’s national teams following the conclusion of the current Nike contract.
The agreement will see Adidas provide the NFF with $4.5 million in annual cash payments, alongside $4 million worth of equipment and playing kits for Nigeria’s various national teams.
The partnership is expected to cover Nigeria’s senior and age-grade national teams, providing fresh playing kits and equipment as the country begins a new commercial relationship with the German sportswear giant.
The deal represents a significant financial commitment to Nigerian football and could provide the NFF with increased resources to support its national teams.
The agreement also marks the end of Nigeria’s existing relationship with Nike, with Adidas set to become the new kit partner as the Super Eagles and other national teams enter a new chapter.
