A woman identified as Mrs Mkpoikana Edem has reportedly been accused of being involved in an alleged “penis harvesting” incident involving a 14 year old boy along the Ikot Akpanabia–Ikot Iko Road in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
According to reports, the incident allegedly occurred at about 9pm on Sunday, September 13, 2026, after the teenage boy reportedly noticed an unusual change in his body and raised an alarm.
The alarm reportedly attracted residents and passers by, who confronted Mrs Edem amid allegations that she was responsible for the boy’s condition.
Reports further claimed that the woman admitted to the alleged act and said she could restore the boy’s penis.
She was reportedly said to have attempted a ritual process in an effort to reverse the alleged condition, but the boy’s family and witnesses claimed that there had been no noticeable restoration as of the time of the report.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, and the allegations have not been independently verified.
Authorities are expected to investigate the incident and establish what actually transpired, particularly given the age of the alleged victim.
