Aston Martin have confirmed that Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll will continue as the team’s drivers for the 2027 Formula 1 season.
The Silverstone-based outfit announced that both drivers will remain with the team, putting an end to questions over its line-up ahead of the next campaign.
Alonso’s future had been a major talking point as the two-time Formula 1 world champion considered whether to continue his career beyond the 2026 season. The Spaniard will now remain with Aston Martin as the team continues its long-term project in F1.
Stroll will also stay on for another season, continuing his partnership with Alonso. The Canadian has been part of Aston Martin’s driver line-up since the team’s rebrand and will enter another campaign alongside the experienced Spaniard.
The decision provides Aston Martin with continuity as the team prepares for another important chapter in its development.
The 2027 Aston Martin driver line-up will therefore remain unchanged, with Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll set to race together once again.
