Defeated Brazilian presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro has reportedly arrived in Miami, Florida, after the administration of United States President Donald Trump approved visas for him and his family.
Bolsonaro reportedly travelled with his family from Brazil to Argentina using an Italian passport before boarding a private jet that stopped in Ecuador en route to Florida.
His departure reportedly came despite a court order prohibiting him from leaving Brazil, raising questions about how he was able to travel outside the country.
The Trump administration confirmed that it was granting visas to Bolsonaro and his family, days after his election defeat.
