The Premier League giants, according to TEAMtalk, are assessing their defensive options ahead of an extensive rebuild in 2027.
Bassey has been one of the standout performers for Fulham this season, showing his quality and consistency.
The versatile defender was entrusted with the captain’s armband at the start of the season.
The Nigeria international has also been linked with a move to Serie A champions Inter Milan.
Bassey’s deal is due to expire in the summer but Fulham have the option to extend it by a further year.
The London club will be desperate to agree fresh terms with the 26-year-old amid interest from Manchester United and Inter.
