The former Aide de Camp (ADC) to Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Mr Anthony Amadi, has tied the knot with the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, former Miss Blessing Uchendu.
The wedding ceremony, held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Okpuno, Anambra State, brought together family members, friends, top government officials and well wishers.
Delivering a message during the church service, the Resident Pastor, Kenneth Enukora, urged the newlyweds to make God the foundation of their marriage, noting that a successful and enduring union requires divine guidance.
He encouraged the couple to uphold love, understanding, humility, obedience and tolerance, while cautioning them against third-party interference and unhealthy competition in their marriage.
Similarly, a friend of the couple, Mr Emmanuel Atuegbu, urged them to put God first, sustain their love and embrace patience and endurance in overcoming life’s challenges.
In his remarks, the groom, Mr Anthony Amadi, said he was attracted to his wife by her strong sense of responsibility, which he described as exceptional. He pledged to do everything possible to sustain their marriage and make her proud.
The bride, Mrs Blessing Amadi, described her husband as peaceful, loving and God-fearing, promising to remain a faithful and supportive wife.
The ceremony attracted several dignitaries and government officials, alongside members of the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) family, led by its Managing Director, Mr Christopher Moluokwu.
Highlights of the celebration included the cutting of the wedding cake and the couple’s dance.
