Tensions had escalated with the governor’s recent inauguration of a factional All Progressives Congress (APC) State Executive Council, prompting police intervention to secure the APC State Secretariat and prevent violence.
Expressing concern over the escalating crisis, the Tiv paramount ruler and his council extended an invitation to both leaders for dialogue at the Tor Tiv Palace in Gboko.
Ayatse, addressing journalists, affirmed that peace had been restored between the two leaders, urging all stakeholders to work together for the advancement of the state.
