The 2023 Abia state governorship candidate of the Action Peoples Party (APP), Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu, has promised to review the Abia State Oil Producing Area Developing Commission (ASOPADEC) law and further seek for the NDDC inclusion of Ohuru Autonomous Community in Ukwa East L.G.A as an oil-producing community and beneficiary of the accruable royalties due for oil-producing communities in Nigeria.
Chief Kalu made this known on Tuesday this week in the Ohuru Autonomous Community of Ukwa East after his attention was drawn to the four capped oil wells of the community.
