Keke Palmer introduced her son to the world of Trolls for his first birthday celebrations.
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the 28th Annual Webby Awards at Cipriani Wall Street on May 13, Palmer, 30, revealed how she rang in her son Leodis “Leo” Andrellton Jackson turning 1 in February.
“I took him to Camp Store where they do a lot of these little different experiential things for kids. They were doing one with Trolls so I got them all dressed up as a troll baby,” the actress and singer tells PEOPLE. “He was Branch, he had the blue hair. We went down the slides. I got stuck on a few, but it was fabulous and so much fun. We had a little concert in the end.”
“I thought it was really good,” she adds.
Palmer shares her son with her ex Darius Jackson.
She celebrated Leo’s milestone birthday by sharing an emotional tribute to the little one on her Instagram. Alongside a clip of Leo in the hospital, the Emmy-winning game show host wrote, “I gave LIFE! Greatest day of my life.”
“Nothing else matters,” she added.
On Sunday, May 12, the True Jackson, VP alum also celebrated Mother’s Day with her baby boy by sharing a carousel post that featured moments between her and Leo.
The Instagram post included a sweet photo of the mother and son as he held a popsicle. Leo was also pictured playing with a toy truck while Palmer cozied up in a blanket beside him.
Palmer also shared snapshots of Leo on set with her as she wore a cop costume while carrying her son, along with a picture of them on a photo shoot.
“Happy Mother’s Day to every and all mommies! I love being a mom more than I thought I would, and that was a lot already! I want a whole soccer team ????,” the mother of one wrote.
