The Junior D’Tigress topped Uganda 71-67 on Friday afternoon in Pretoria, South Africa, to reach the grand finale of the 2024 FIBA U-18 Women’s Afrobasket Championship.
As a result, they have secured one of the two spots available for teams in Africa region for the 2025 FIBA U-19 Women’s Basketball World Cup scheduled to be held in the Czech Republic.
They will face eight times and defending champions Mali in the final on Saturday.
