The Taraba State governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has been struck by another tragedy following the death of his sister, Atsi Kefas, in a police accidental discharge.
The governor’s mother’s driver, Abraham, reportedly slumped and died upon hearing the devastating news.
According to reports, the heartbreaking incident took place on Tuesday at T.Y. Danjuma House in Abuja.
A witness described the scene: “I was in the lodge when it happened. He just slumped and died after hearing about the death of the governor’s sister,” the source told Daily Trust.
Abraham, a native of Wukari and driver in the convoy of the governor’s wife since 2023, had been behind the wheel when Atsi was struck by a stray bullet along the Wukari-Kente route on December 5, 2024.
