Segun Arinze, a renowned actor, has expressed his views on the persistent allegations of homosegxwality within the Nigerian movie industry.

In an interview with Arise TV, shared on YouTube, Arinze emphasised that he does not involve in homosegxwal activities.

The 59-year-old actor stated that individuals who “bend over are adults and they have a right to do whatever they want to do”.

Arinze revealed that he chooses to live a simple life, prioritising his business and his professionalism.

“I do not bend over, so I cannot react to it. Well if they do bend over, they should keep bending. That is their problem. They are adults and they have a right to do whatever they want to do. It is none of my business,” he said.

I am not going to concern myself with that. I do not like those lash backs, I like living my life straightforward, doing my business and being a professional that I am.”

Born Segun Aina, the actor began his career as a singer, which was what first brought him into the limelight. However, his debut album, Dream, did not achieve significant commercial success.

Arinze gained widespread fame for his role in the 1996 movie Domitilla and has since appeared in over 100 films.
