Annie Kilner, the wife of Manchester City defender Kyle Walker, has reportedly put her divorce proceedings on hold as Walker eyes a potential transfer to Saudi Arabia.

The 34-year-old footballer is said to be considering a lucrative £400,000-a-week deal, with clubs like Al Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo is captain, expressing interest.

Annie initially sought legal advice last year regarding their marriage, finances, and custody of their children.

In October, reports suggested she was fighting for half of Walker’s £27 million fortune.

However, recent developments suggest the couple is prioritizing family unity.

A source told The Sun, “Annie always puts the children first but has to think about herself too. Financial security is essential, and Kyle has assured her she’ll never need to worry, regardless of what happens.”

Together since their teenage years, the couple faced challenges after Walker admitted to infidelity, calling it a “horrible mistake” and taking “full responsibility.”

Despite Annie consulting divorce lawyers, the pair reconciled over Christmas, sharing a family photo with their four children: Roman, 12; Riaan, 8; Reign, 6; and Rezon, 5 months.

While some speculate that Annie’s decision to pause the divorce is tied to Walker’s potential Saudi transfer, insiders insist her primary focus remains the family’s well-being.

“Annie is no fool,” a source added. “She’s weighing all her options carefully while supporting Kyle.”
