Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu, the wife of former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has returned to Nigeria following her release from a UK prison.
According to multiple sources, she arrived in Nigeria on Wednesday.
It will be recalled that Senator Ekweremadu, Mrs. Ekweremadu, and Dr. Obinna Obeta were convicted by a UK court on charges related to organ harvesting.
While the former Deputy Senate President was handed a 10-year prison sentence, Mrs. Ekweremadu received a six-year sentence.
