Nigerian street-hop artist Portable has publicly apologized to Fuji legend King Saheed Osupa and debuted a new look after his recent release from Ilorin prison.

The conflict began when Portable’s song was removed from streaming platforms like Apple Music and Spotify due to copyright infringement. The track allegedly included a line from one of Osupa’s songs, leading to complaints from Osupa’s distribution team. In response, Portable publicly insulted Osupa, calling him “big for nothing,” which sparked significant backlash online.

Following his arrest by the Kwara State Police Command on charges including criminal defamation and threats to life, Portable was remanded in Ilorin prison after failing to meet bail conditions . Upon his release, which occurred after Osupa withdrew the case under certain conditions, Portable took to social media to express remorse.

He shared a photo of Osupa with the caption, “God bless you sir, am sorry Bami,” and showcased his new look, having shaved off his signature multi-colored hairstyle.
