Nigerian comedian, Daniel Nnwoka, who is better known as Deehumorous, has disclosed that Grammy winner Burna Boy once worked as an on-air personality (OAP) at Rhythm 93.7 FM in Port Harcourt.
In a recent interview on Naija FM, Deehumorous disclosed that he and Burna Boy were colleagues, hosting an afternoon show together before the Grammy-winning artiste rose to fame.
According to Deehumorous, Burna Boy had already established himself as a talented singer long before gaining international recognition.
He also dismissed the common belief that ‘Like to Party’ (2012) was Burna Boy’s first song, clarifying that the artiste had previously released tracks like ‘Abeg Abeg’ and ‘Wonbolowo’ and had even performed live band concerts in Port Harcourt.
Deehumorous credited Wizkid for amplifying Burna Boy’s sound after the Starboy tweeted about him in 2012.
