Leading governoship candidate in Abia on the platform of Action People’s Party, APP Hon. Mascot Uzor Kalu on Wednesday joined other well meaning Abians to celebrate the swearing in of Chief Henry Ikoh as a federal cabinet member.
He was among the seven ministers sworn in by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday.
In a social media post, the governoship hopeful described Chief Ikoh as a strategic leader, wishing him well in his national assignment.
“I joined other Abians in celebrating one of our own, Chief Henry Ikoh who was earlier today, (Wednesday) July 6th swore in as the minister for state science and technology by President Muhammadu Buhari alongside six (6) others.
“Henry I know is a perfectionist and a strategic leader, so I am satisfactorily ensured that he will bring his rich wealth of knowledge and experience to pilot the affairs of the newly assigned ministry for the benefit of all.
“My best wishes and prayers are with him” he posted.
