A public affairs analyst, Adeniyi Ifetayo, has said that he does not see the recent reinstated Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara joining the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Ifetayo made this statement on Tuesday while responding to questions in an interview on ‘The Morning Brief’, a programme on Channels Television.

“I don’t see that coming. If you look at it even when he was called back, if he were someone who is desperate to hold onto the power, I’m sure he would have jumped into office immediately but it took him 24-48 hours before he resumed.

And since the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike said he has forgiven him, let’s see that he has forgiven him indeed and he has forgotten about what what happened in the past. Maybe they will allow him to run for the second term,” he said.

#Muktv reports that Fubara, his deputy and members of the State Assembly were reinstated on September 17 after the suspension of the six months state of emergency imposed on the state in March.
