Samuel Eto’o has secured another term at the head of the Cameroonian Football Federation after winning re-election by a landslide, taking 85 of the 87 available votes.
This emphatic result hands the former Indomitable Lions striker a fresh four-year mandate to continue steering FECAFOOT and pushing his vision for the development of Cameroonian football.
The vote, held at the federation’s elective General Assembly, left Eto’o virtually unchallenged and underscores the strong backing he retains among delegates. With only two ballots not counted in his favour, the outcome extends his tenure through to 2029 and gives the legend a powerful endorsement to deepen reforms in domestic leagues, national teams and football governance over the coming years.
