The Enugu State Police Command has arrested five suspects linked to armed robbery and one-chance activities in the state.

The arrests, according to a statement issued on Thursday by the command’s spokesperson, SP Daniel Ndukwe, were made by operatives of the Anti-Cultism Tactical Squad during operations carried out between November 22 and December 1, 2025.

The suspects are Ikechukwu Patrick (19), Odoh David (21), Izuchukwu Ogbodo (37), Charles Ekenechukwu Egwuatu (39), and Justina Dike (37).

Police recovered an imitation gun, four stolen tricycles, a scissor blade, several master keys, and multiple SIM cards from them.

According to Ndukwe, Patrick and Odoh were first arrested on November 22 with the help of the Neighbourhood Watch Group.

An imitation gun and scissors were found on them, and they confessed to being members of the Supreme Vikings Confraternity and to planning armed robbery.

The statement partly read, “Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command attached to the Anti-Cultism Tactical Squad have arrested five armed robbery and one-chance criminal suspects in a series of coordinated operations and investigations conducted between 22nd November and 1st December 2025.

The suspects are Ikechukwu Patrick (male, 19), Odoh David (male, 21), Izuchukwu Ogbodo (male, 37), Charles Ekenechukwu Egwuatu (male, 39), and Justina Dike (female, 37). Exhibits recovered from them include an imitation gun, four stolen tricycles, a scissor blade, multiple master keys, and several SIM cards.
