Ebo Noah, a self-proclaimed Ghanian Prophet, whose alarming prediction of a catastrophic global flood failed to occur on Christmas Day, has now told his followers to relax, celebrate and “enjoy themselves,” announcing that the supposed doom has been postponed.
Ebo Noah had earlier warned that God would unleash a devastating flood on December 25, 2025, a prophecy that sparked fear, curiosity and intense debate across Ghana and parts of West Africa.
Known for his appearance in tattered, old-style robes, the prophet released several viral videos on social media urging people to repent and prepare for what he described as the end of the world. His messages gained massive traction, drawing thousands of reactions and followers online.
In one of the videos shared on his TikTok page, which has over 77,000 followers, Ebo Noah claimed God instructed him to build arks to save those willing to repent from destruction.
Speaking on the Behind The Lens podcast with Queen Liz, he said the warning first came to him in a dream in 2023 and continued repeatedly through 2025.
“I’m building an ark, if you have faith come. It is free; we are not taking money from anybody. When you come and he does not rain, my friend, go home.
“I have fasted for three weeks, I have prayed, I have told you to repent. I have interceded for Ghana and the whole world. Whatever happens is the decision of God,” Ebo Noah said.
Standing beside one of the boats, the prophet claimed he had already constructed six arks and purchased about 250,000 pieces of wood to build four more.
On December 24, he insisted the arks were nearly 80 per cent completed and would serve as the only refuge when the flood struck.
But when Christmas Day passed without incident, Ebo Noah announced a dramatic twist, claiming his prayers had persuaded God to delay the disaster and give humanity more time, including the construction of additional arks.
Videos later emerged online showing crowds carrying luggage toward a location believed to be the ark site, though the authenticity of the footage could not be independently verified.
Announcing the postponement in a video on his Facebook page, Ebo Noah said:
“God revealed to me that he has redeemed us. I have prayed, I have fasted, I have donated and I have built, and through my prayers I got another vision and in the vision, when you look at the number of people coming all over the world into the ark, the expansion of the ark could not contain. So, I shared my vision to some great men of God who also interceded with me.
“After the intercession, God has given us some time to build more arks in addition to the 10 that will contain all of us. So, tomorrow, nobody should rush to any location. I’m not selling tickets, I’m not taking money from anyone. Please, stay at home, enjoy yourselves, have fun and also I’m wishing all of you Merry Christmas and a happy New Year,” he said.
In an unexpected turn, the self-proclaimed prophet later appeared on stage at the ‘Rapperholic 2025’ concert of Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie.
Viral clips showed Ebo Noah being cheered by thousands of concertgoers as he urged them, in Twi, to relax and celebrate.
“God has granted me more time to build additional arks. No need to rush anywhere tomorrow—stay home, enjoy, repent, and be saved. The floods and end are postponed due to prayers, so let’s party,” he said.
