Nigeria’s Super Falcons will test their readiness for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) when they take part in the WAFU B Four-Nation Tournament scheduled for February 27 to March 7, 2026, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
The invitational tournament will feature four West African powerhouses hosts Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Senegal, and the reigning African champions, Nigeria. The competition serves as a strategic warm-up for the Super Falcons as they fine-tune tactics and assess new players ahead of their title defense at WAFCON 2026 in Morocco.
Nigeria’s head coach is expected to use the tournament to solidify team chemistry, integrate promising talents from the local league, and experiment with formations that could prove vital on the continental stage.
With Ghana and Senegal also fielding competitive squads, the Abidjan showdown promises exciting football and an early glimpse of the region’s top contenders for WAFCON glory.
