The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced January 31, 2026, as the final deadline for clubs competing in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup group stages to update their player rosters on the CAF Competition Management System (CMS).
According to CAF’s directive, teams may add new players or remove existing names from their official lists before the cutoff date. Any newly registered players will become eligible to feature starting from Matchday 4 of the group stages in both continental tournaments.
The mid-season registration window gives participating clubs a chance to strengthen their squads ahead of the decisive rounds, where qualification for the knockout stages is often determined.
