CAF has convened an online meeting with everyone connected to the fallout from the AFCON 2025 final between Morocco and Senegal on January 18, where Senegal secured a 1–0 victory to claim the trophy. 🚨🌍
Matters currently being examined include:
• Claims that Senegal’s coach signaled for his players to walk off the pitch
• The controversy surrounding goalkeeper Édouard Mendy and the towel situation
• As many as five players, Mendy included, may face consequences
• Additional figures from both the technical area and beyond are also being reviewed
