Trabzonspor manager, Fatih Tekke, has commented on striker, Paul Onuachu’s performance against Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig over the weekend.
Following Trabzonspor’s 2-1 victory over Galatasaray at Papara Park, Tekke singled out Onuachu for special praise.
The Nigerian international found the back of the net in the crucial Super Lig clash.
In a post-match interview with beIN SPORTS, Tekke pinpointed how Onuachu’s contributions—particularly in the first half—proved instrumental against the visitors.
“Galatasaray is generally a team that plays very well behind the defense, with second balls and set pieces,” Tekke said.
One of their best things is to apply pressure one-on-one and create danger with the balls they win. In this match, Onuachu’s attempts to hold onto the balls in the first half were very valuable.”
Trabzonspor’s next match is against Alanyaspor next weekend.
