AC Milan owners RedBird Capital Partners have confirmed that CEO Giorgio Furlani, sporting director Igli Tare, head coach Massimiliano Allegri and technical director Geoffrey Moncada have all left their roles with immediate effect, in a major shake-up of the club’s hierarchy.

In a statement issued on Monday, RedBird said the changes were part of a broader restructuring of Milan’s sporting and executive management, aimed at repositioning the club for future success on and off the pitch. The ownership group thanked Furlani, Tare, Allegri and Moncada for their contributions, noting that each had played a role in steering the Rossoneri through recent seasons and European campaigns.

Furlani, who had overseen Milan’s business operations, exits alongside Tare and Moncada, the duo responsible for squad planning, transfers and youth development in recent years. Allegri’s departure brings an abrupt end to his latest spell in charge of the first team, leaving Milan without a head coach just as preparations for the new campaign were beginning to take shape.

RedBird indicated that interim arrangements would be announced shortly, with an eye on appointing a new leadership structure capable of maintaining competitiveness in Serie A and Europe while also advancing the club’s long-term project. The overhaul is expected to raise questions among supporters about continuity, but ownership remains adamant that the shake-up is necessary to align Milan’s sporting vision with its financial and strategic ambitions.
