Businessman and senatorial aspirant, Chief Ebuka Onunkwo, has received royal blessings from the traditional ruler of Nnewi, Igwe Kenneth Orizu III, during a thank-you visit to supporters following the NDC senatorial primaries.
Onunkwo, accompanied by his supporters, visited the palace of the revered monarch in Nnewi, where he expressed gratitude to the people of Nnewi and the Anambra South Senatorial District for their support during the primaries.
He pledged to provide quality representation for the zone and promised to build on the legacy of the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
In his response, Igwe Orizu offered prayers for Onunkwo’s success and urged him to remain committed to serving the people with integrity and dedication.
The visit formed part of Onunkwo’s ongoing appreciation tour across the senatorial district and highlighted the growing engagement between political leaders and traditional institutions ahead of future electoral contests in Anambra South.
