The Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate and Senator representing Ebonyi North, Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi, and the member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency, Comrade Chinedu Ogah, have called on the people of Ebonyi State to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu, saying sustained support would attract more federal development projects to the state.

Speaking at separate events over the weekend, the lawmakers highlighted ongoing infrastructure and agricultural interventions in their constituencies.

Senator Nwebonyi flagged off the first phase of the Amike Aba Town Hall Road project in Abakaliki, describing it as part of the 2025 Constituency Intervention Programme. He said the concrete-paved road is designed for durability and forms part of his broader commitment to improving infrastructure across Ebonyi North.

Meanwhile, Comrade Ogah distributed 5,000 bags of fertiliser, rice seedlings and ₦50 million in financial support to farmers and other beneficiaries in Ikwo Local Government Area. He described agriculture as a key driver of economic growth and pledged continued support for programmes that improve livelihoods.

Both lawmakers commended Governor Francis Nwifuru for providing an enabling environment for development and urged residents to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
