Supporters of Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, have expressed confidence that the proposed Anambra Airport for the Aerotropolis and Industrial City project in Ndikerionwu, Omogho and Ogboji communities of Orumba North Local Government Area will be successfully completed.
The supporters dismissed speculations that the project could be abandoned, arguing that Governor Soludo’s record in delivering major infrastructure projects demonstrates his commitment to fulfilling campaign promises.
They cited projects such as the Solution Fun City in Awka, which they said initially attracted criticism but has since evolved into one of the state’s major recreational and tourism destinations, as evidence of the governor’s ability to execute long-term development initiatives.
According to them, the proposed Aerotropolis and Industrial City project is expected to stimulate investment, industrialisation, job creation and economic growth in Anambra State upon completion.
The supporters maintained that Governor Soludo has consistently remained focused on implementing his administration’s development agenda despite criticism, expressing optimism that the airport project will become another landmark achievement of his government.
They called on Ndi Anambra and other stakeholders to support the initiative, stressing that collective backing would help accelerate the state’s vision of becoming a leading destination for commerce, industry and investment.
