The Anambra State Police Command has congratulated Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Nnamdi Anabuike on his promotion and decoration, describing the achievement as a significant milestone that reflects dedication, discipline and professionalism in service.
In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Command said the elevation of ACP Anabuike is a source of pride for Nnewi North Local Government Area and Anambra State, expressing optimism that it would inspire more young people to pursue careers in the Nigeria Police Force.
ACP Anabuike was decorated on Friday at the Zone 13 Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 13, AIG Godwin Iguh Eze.
The Command noted that the promotion represents not only a personal achievement for the officer but also demonstrates the opportunities available to dedicated and committed personnel within the Nigeria Police Force.
It further observed that more young people in Anambra State are showing interest in careers in policing and public service, describing the development as encouraging for the future of law enforcement in the country.
According to the statement, the Nigeria Police Force provides opportunities for young Nigerians who are willing to serve with integrity, discipline and commitment while contributing to the protection of lives and property and the promotion of justice.
The Command expressed confidence that ACP Anabuike’s career progression would motivate aspiring police officers across Anambra State to remain focused and embrace careers in public service.
It also urged youths to take advantage of legitimate opportunities within the Nigeria Police Force and other public institutions to build meaningful careers dedicated to national development.
