The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), in a startling revelation, has sounded the alarm, declaring that the widely circulated New Year 2024 slogan, “No Gree For Anybody,” is designed to incite a revolution and sow chaos in the nation.
Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, issued the warning in Abuja, highlighting intelligence reports indicating the slogan’s revolutionary intent.
However, Adejobi seriously cautioned that freedom has limits, stating that engaging in illegal activities would nullify the notion of “no gree for anybody” when individuals are apprehended for criminal acts by law enforcement.
“Let me say it again that the new slogan for 2024, ‘No gree for anybody’, we have been informed by intelligence that this slogan is coming from a revolutionary sector that may likely cause problems across the country,” ACP Adejobi disclosed.
In the eyes of the security community, “No gree for anybody’ is being seen as a normal talk, but in the security community, we have seen it as a very dangerous slogan that can trigger crisis,” he added.
