Undercover journalist Umar Audu, in an interview on Channels Television reported by The Punch, has exposed an alarming revelation about obtaining a Cotonou-based University certificate that echoed the ease of a pizza delivery, claiming it took merely six weeks.

Audu’s inquiry aimed to unravel the alarming ease with which a university degree from Benin Republic was obtained.

He highlighted the alarming pattern of quick deliveries, reminiscent of ordering a pizza, even stressing that this casual transaction motivated his investigation.

“This certificate will be delivered to you just like you ordered for a pizza or something and you give them your location, and it is delivered to you. That was what motivated me to conduct this investigation,” Audu disclosed.

His investigative report titled “How Daily Nigerian reporter bagged Cotonou varsity degree in 6 weeks” revealed an extensive racket involved in selling university degrees to Nigerians.

As reported by MUK TV, this exposure led the Federal Government to suspend degree certificate accreditation and evaluation from Benin Republic and Togo.

Remarkably, Audu completed this investigation without ever leaving the shores of Nigeria.

The certificate issued shows Audu began his program in 2018 and graduated on September 5, 2022.
