UEFA’s Technical Observer Panel has unveiled the 2025/26 Champions League Team of the Season, with champions Paris Saint‑Germain providing the backbone of an XI dominated by Ligue 1 and Premier League talent.

Goalkeeper David Raya headlines a strong Arsenal contingent after a string of commanding displays between the posts, capped by a series of decisive saves in the knockout rounds. In front of him, Marcos Llorente, Marquinhos, Gabriel and Nuno Mendes make up a back four that combined defensive solidity with attacking thrust, with PSG duo Marquinhos and Mendes rewarded for anchoring the champions’ back line.

The midfield is built around Declan Rice and Vitinha, whose control and balance in the centre of the pitch were pivotal to deep runs for Arsenal and PSG respectively. They are flanked by Michael Olise and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, with Kvaratskhelia also named UEFA’s Player of the Season after consistently deciding big games from the left.

In attack, Ousmane Dembélé and Harry Kane complete a formidable front line, recognised for their goals, creativity and influence in the latter stages of the competition. PSG finish with five representatives, Arsenal with three, Bayern München with two and Atlético de Madrid with one, underlining the dominance of those four clubs in this season’s tournament.
