Cesc Fàbregas has underlined his passion for coaching by revealing that the part of management he enjoys most is working closely with players, particularly youngsters, to help them grow and improve.
Speaking about his day-to-day work, Fàbregas explained that developing individuals is at the heart of his coaching philosophy. He said he loves spending time with players, especially the younger ones, and focuses on making them better or at least trying to bring them closer to their potential. He described how he regularly analyses situations with them, breaking down what happens on the pitch and using those moments as teaching opportunities.
Fàbregas added that he takes time to study the idols and role models his players look up to, using those figures as reference points for improvement. He offers his own opinion, listens carefully to the players’ perspectives, and then takes those conversations onto the training ground. There, he works with them individually, turning theory and discussion into practical sessions designed to refine their decision-making, technique and understanding of the game.
