The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), in partnership with the Imo State Government, has trained Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Owerri on effective packaging, labeling, and branding strategies to boost export competitiveness.
Speaking at the workshop, NEPC urged entrepreneurs to adopt attractive and globally acceptable packaging standards to enhance the marketability of their products in the international market.
The Imo State Government reaffirmed its commitment to supporting MSMEs through partnerships that promote economic growth and increase foreign exchange earnings, while participants were encouraged to patent their products to curb counterfeiting and improve product quality.
The training attracted stakeholders from key business development and research institutions across the country.
