There was mild panic at the Old Government House in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, on Monday after a stray dog wandered into the premises, causing fear among workers and visitors.
The dog, described by eyewitnesses as fierce-looking, disrupted activities as some staff members reportedly fled for safety while others attempted to contain the animal.
Officials said the dog’s owner had not been identified, and efforts were underway to safely remove it from the Government House and restore normal activities.
