A baby born in Pakistan with a very rare congenital condition called diphallia has been operated upon. A condition where a male child is born with two penises.

Diphallia is extremely rare — estimated to occur in about 1 in 5–6 million births worldwide. It happens during early fetal development when the genital tubercle (the structure that forms the penis) splits or duplicates. In many cases, this condition can also be associated with other abnormalities involving the urinary tract, bladder, or intestines.

In this particular case, doctors evaluated which organ was fully functional and safely removed the larger one through surgery to help ensure normal urinary and reproductive development as the child grows. They explained their reason for doings so was to make sure that the baby will grow up to have a normal functioning life. Surgical management depends on anatomy, functionality, and long-term health considerations. Early intervention often helps prevent complications and supports a better quality of life.

Medical teams handling such rare cases usually involve pediatric surgeons, urologists, and neonatal specialists to ensure careful planning and recovery.

The post which was made on the_30bs platform got a lot of replies from men claiming that the physicians removed the incorrect one because society believes that having a larger penis or dick is preferable. They satirically called the surgical team and doctor’s haters for removing the bigger organ.
