The search for the brightest primary school pupil in Aguata Local Government Area has reached its climax as the Chairman of Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike hosted the final stage of the Evergreen Quest academic competition.
The competition, organized by the Evergreen Foundation, featured ten outstanding pupils selected from public primary schools across Aguata, all competing for a fully funded six-year scholarship to Evergreen College, valued at approximately ₦36 million.
The scholarship package covers tuition, accommodation, feeding, uniforms, and other educational expenses throughout the winner’s secondary school education. The successful pupil will join Evergreen College in the 2026/2027 academic session.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Ofobuike reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to nurturing young talents and creating opportunities for academic excellence among Aguata children.
The winner of the prestigious scholarship competition is expected to be announced in the coming days.
