The Arkansas Razorbacks clinched the 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Outdoor Track and Field team title on Saturday, finishing with 56 points to top runners-up Georgia, who scored 49.

Arkansas sealed the championship through a blend of individual victories and depth across events, producing key points in sprints, jumps and relays that ultimately proved decisive. The Razorbacks’ balanced scoring allowed them to withstand late pushes from Georgia and other contenders, securing the program’s latest national crown.

“Our team showed heart, depth and championship mentality all week,” Arkansas head coach said. “Every athlete who scored played a part. That’s what championship teams do — they pick up points across the board and finish strong when it matters.”
Highlights for Arkansas included:
• Strong performances in the sprint events and relays that produced crucial points.
• High finishes in the horizontal jumps and middle-distance races that provided the margin of victory.
• Veteran leadership from key scorers who delivered under pressure and younger athletes who contributed valuable points.

Georgia, finishing second with 49 points, mounted a fierce challenge with top placings in several events and standout individual performances. The Bulldogs’ late surge made for a tense finale, but Arkansas’ earlier accumulation of points proved enough to clinch the title.
