A young woman has accused Nollywood actress Funmi Awelewa of allegedly refusing to pay her salary after working for 16 days as a sales representative.
In a viral video, the lady claimed she was employed under difficult conditions and was subjected to what she described as unfair treatment, including running personal errands and being sent on duties outside her job description.
She alleged that after sustaining an injury while working at the store, her request for medical support and part payment of her salary was rejected, adding that she was later blocked after demanding payment.
The lady further claimed she reported the matter at a police station, but said the actress did not honour police invitation.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official response from Funmi Awelewa regarding the allegations.
