The Office of Ifeanyi Godwin Araraume has dismissed as fake a viral publication claiming to be from the former senator, describing it as a deliberate attempt to create division within the APC in Imo State.
In a statement, Araraume disowned the publication titled “A Message of Gratitude, Unity, and a Clarion Call to Rebuild Okigwe Zone,” insisting he neither authored nor authorised its release.
He reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC, stating that he remains committed to the party’s leadership and is awaiting its official decision on the Imo North Senatorial primary, contrary to claims that he had declared himself the party’s candidate.
The former senator also dismissed reports of any rift with Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, describing their relationship as cordial and based on mutual respect.
Araraume urged party members, the media and the public to disregard the fake publication, reaffirming his support for the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC, and the Renewed Hope Agenda while calling for unity within the party.
